Georgia Cottis holds a degree in Accounting and Economics and is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and member of the ICAEW as of 2003. She has commenced her career as a statutory auditor having experience in both the Big4 and smaller local practices. She then moved into audit consulting and education where she joined a leading training Firm and led the project for assisting small and medium sized entities to address the newly introduced ICPAC monitoring visits. She has spent over 15 years in professional training, is a certified HRDA trainer, and acts as an industry expert specializing in Audit and Financial accounting training.
Georgia has delivered more than 6000 hours of training for CPD seminars, ACA & ACCA qualifications both locally and internationally, and is renowned for her approachable and clear delivery methods always relating knowledge to practical examples. Â Over the last 10 years, she also held the position of Director of Learning and Development and Nicosia Centre Head for Globaltraining alongside her Principal Trainer role.
As of June 2023, Georgia decided to seek new challenges and collaborations having stepped down from her permanent role and now pursues to empower and shape up the Education sector in providing more relevant and hands on learning experiences in a rapidly changing world where technology, artificial intelligence and sustainability are leading the world in a new era.
